I’m passionate about my work as a medium and a strong believer in psychology. I’m appreciative of the research and knowledge that are available in both fields.
Last January, Barb Dobson, who’s a psychologist in Canmore, and I gave a workshop on values, inner knowing, and setting healthy boundaries. It was a beautiful combination of receiving tools from the perspective of a psychologist and working energetically by releasing experiences and opening and clearing chakras.
As a medium, I provide insight into clients’ personal lives regarding relationships and other major life areas, thereby creating awareness and deeper understanding. It’s helpful to clients to decide on possible action steps, consider changes in the future, be at peace with what is, or be motivated to stay on their current path.
Life problems don’t fall into place in a forty-five-to-sixty-minute life path reading. You’re still responsible for working through your issues and growing. When I have the feeling that a client would benefit from receiving tools by a psychologist, I express that very openly. Sometimes, a client may need additional support and coaching along the journey of life.
If you’re currently working on your mental health, talk to your health care practitioner to see if you’ll benefit from receiving a reading or if you should hold off for now. Trust that everything happens at the right time.
You’re the only one who can create change in your life. A medium gives you insight and creates a platform for you. You’re the one who has to take the steps.
