Let's Dance and Other Mood Enhancers
I believe in embracing exceptional moments and creating positivity in life.
I do this with a happy dance. Dancing turns a special time into a celebration. My dance parties last for a brief moment. There are no crazy moves unless my niece or Stig's daughter is with us.
For the two young ladies, I shake my booty on the dance floor in the kitchen.
No rhythm. No talent. Tight lower back. Strange movements.
I got big reactions from the girls in the past. Ew 🤮 stop Petra, stop.
I tell you, they made my brilliant moment even better.
Though there are times when I'm not dancing. It doesn't even cross my mind because I'm running after god knows what. My thoughts become narrow and don't serve me well.
For those days, I've written a list of positive things to do.
I did this intending to give myself permission to do as many things as possible to lift my spirits.
There's nothing extravagant on my list.

Reading
Listening to a podcast or music
Looking outside the window and watching nature

When I reach for the list, I immediately become positive.
