Philosophy: Your Inner Child

16. March 2025

The birth of a child is like a Magnolia tree blooming in late March. Full of blossoms. You can feel the loving female energy around a newborn. Yin energy is represented in the blossoms of the magnolia. Like babies, the bloom attracts attention and love with its purity.

Magnolia blossoms are vulnerable to cold weather. Late spring frost or snow can harm the blossoms. The tree's blossoms freeze and fall off, their sweet fragrance gone, but the tree itself will endure.

How does a child's life and well-being change when the yin energy surrounding them shifts and trauma becomes an icy presence? Trauma may have robbed it of its blossoms, but not their soul.

The fallen petals are a symbol of your inner child. Each one represents your younger self.

Reconnecting with your inner child brings back a piece of who you were before the trauma. Each piece adds to your completeness, enhances your childlike joy of life, and brings you closer to your soul.

The Magnolia's blooming period is typically brief. Children have to grow up fast and don’t have many carefree years.

Regardless of the temperature and flowering time, the leaves sprout after the tree's flowers have bloomed or frozen.

Each leaf on the tree symbolizes the many options you have. All of them lead to unique experiences and adventures.

The leaves come from the energy of the tree. Every opportunity for your development in life comes from your soul.

The green of the leaves represents healing – you have the opportunity to heal yourself.

Life begins with a seed. Flowers that have braved the cold bear fruits. They open and let their seeds out.

Every day, you can choose to plant your seeds. Every morning you’re reborn. How you live today is in your hands.

As a new day begins, female energy surrounds your new blossoms. There’s a risk of another cold snap.

What should you protect? Seeds or blossoms? Perhaps you’d rather preserve the leaves?

I believe we should appreciate those fallen petals, the inner child. They are the fertilizer, nourishing the tree, and in return, the tree gives its soul.

Your inner child may have experienced pain and sorrow. But your essence, dreams, and joy are still within you. By healing your younger self, you’ll see the span of your wings.
